Places to visit in Mallorca
Palma de Mallorca is the island's capital. It's a delightful city, boasting a beautiful marina, castle, cathedral, town square and plenty of small and quaint streets. But that is not what most holidaymakers come for. Playa de Palma is where most people go for fun and excitement. Besides sunbathing and swimming, you can really get the adrenaline flowing on the water with parasailing, water skiing and banana riding. Right next to Playa de Palma is El Arenal, another hotspot for sun worshippers. The vibrant boulevard above the beach connects the two seaside areas. There's plenty to do during your stroll in the many shops, restaurants and outdoor cafés. After sunset, the city really comes alive: holidaymakers from all over flock to the city for its famous nightlife until the sun comes up.
