
Terminal expansion
Eindhoven Airport will start the expansion of the terminal including a baggage basement at the end of 2024. The expansion is expected to be fully completed in 2027. The objective is for the construction to cause as little disruption as possible to passengers, visitors and employees.
Fact & figures:
The expansion incorporates the latest developments in sustainability. For example, materials are reused. After the expansion, the terminal will be completely gas-free. Nearly 1,100 solar panels will be installed on the roof of the terminal expansion. In the basement there will be a water basin to collect rainwater. That water will be used for the toilets in the expansion.
The terminal will be expanded on the airside by approximately 10,000 m2 , and on the landside by approximately 2,000 m2.

There will be more space for additional gates and hospitality. The non-Schengen area will also be expanded
The arrivals hall will be extended and the number of baggage belts for arriving baggage will go from 3 to 4 .
