Expansion reaches highest point

Today, the highest point of the expansion of Eindhoven Airport’s terminal was officially reached with the placement of a wooden roof beam by construction supervisor Ruud Hendriks of Eindhoven Airport and site manager Perry van der Wijst of Heijmans. At its highest point, the terminal is approximately 14 metres tall. A total of 735 cubic metres of timber has been used in the roof, which consists of 687 individual components.
