At the airport
Of course, the airport has various facilities for passengers but did you know that we also have a meditation centre and other special places? Read more here.
At Eindhoven Airport you will of course find the necessary facilities for passengers such as check-in counters, gates and restaurants but did you know that we also have a meditation centre. Here you can retreat in peace to pray or to be alone with your thoughts for a while. If you want, you can also talk to the airport priest. And have you ever been to our panorama terrace with free binoculars on the second floor in the terminal? There you can also spot planes when you're not flying. Read more about the special places at the airport.
Meditation centre
In our meditation centre also called silence room on the second floor in the terminal (in front of the Security Check) you can meditate, pray or quietly retreat into your own thoughts. It doesn't matter if you believe or what faith you have; you are welcome. For example, you will find the Bible, the Koran, other scriptures and prayer mats. Would you like to have a conversation prior to your trip? The airport priest is available for this several days a week.
Aircraft spotting
Want to wave your family members or friends off as they board the plane? Then come to our panorama terrace on the second floor in the terminal (accessible via LaPlace restaurant). From the panorama terrace you can look straight out onto the apron, so you'll have a great opportunity to spot planes and wave your family or friends off. But of course, you can also just come and watch planes if you're not waving anyone off. And don't forget your camera. The panorama terrace is open during airport business hours. Want to see and photograph even more planes? Then visit our spotter's spot on the Spottersweg.
Lost and found
Travellers usually carry luggage. Fortunately, it usually arrives at its destination. But frequently, something is forgotten or lost on the plane or while at the airport. Travellers sometimes forget books, (sun)glasses, items of clothing or phones. The craziest thing we have ever found is dentures. We collect the items we find at the Lost & Found desk in the Arrivals Hall. The items that are not collected go to the municipality of Eindhoven after a few weeks. Want to know more about what to do if you have lost/forgotten something on the plane or at the airport? Then click here.
Spend the night
Want to get on the plane fully rested when you take an early morning flight the next day? Then book a room at hotel Tulip Inn Eindhoven Airport. This hotel at the terminal of Eindhoven Airport has no less than 120 rooms-some of which have a view of the runway. There's bound to be a nice room for you. Of course, you can also stay in our hotel if you are not going to fly.
McDonalds
Complete your day of aircraft spotting at Eindhoven Airport with a meal at McDonalds. The restaurant in parking garage P1 near the terminal offers a wide range of e.g. burgers, shakes, ice creams and salads.
