Security is a top priority at Eindhoven Airport. G4S Security works at the airport every day to ensure everyone's safety. Kris Retzlaff from Heikant is one of the security staff. She loves her job at the airport. “I can't wait until COVID doesn't restrict us anymore and the busy times return,” she says. The action and variety in her work that appeal to her most. “I check the carry-on luggage and people at the security checkpoint. I also regularly check people and vehicles at the access gate to the apron.” According to Kris, no two days are the same and it's all about running when the pager goes off because of an incident. Her strength? “Communicating and her knowledge of people”  Kris is also a neighbour of the airport. “That's nice. I'm home in ten minutes after a long day's work.”
